The ultimate course assignment for World Amateur Handicap Championship participants is the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, a top 100 course and the home of the World Championship Playoff. While everyone dreams of playing the Dunes Club, if the 2008 course lineup is any indication, the journey will be as enjoyable as the destination. Tom Cox felt like he was walking the grounds of heaven. The pearly gates the Canadian traveled through didn’t require a celestial trip but were instead located in Augusta, Ga. International Pairs Update

The International Pairs championship in St. Andrew's, Scotland was everything Tim Lemp and Roy Gainer thought it would be. The tournament, played in early July, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, providing the duo with a full range of emotions and competition.
 
Lemp and Gainer earned an all expenses paid trip to the International Pairs championship by virtue of winning the United States qualifier, which is held in conjunction with the PGA TOUR Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship.
